Tulikivi Fireplace
Tulikivi (Two-lee-kee-vee). In Finnish it literally means "fire stone". "Tuli" means fire and "kivi" means stone. In English, it's translated into one of the world's most beautiful and efficient ways to heat your home. The concept is simple, yet far different from what we are used to in this country. Only soapstone from Finland can provide the durability and heat holding capacity demanded by a woodburning Tulikivi's. The traditional masonry fireplace hasn't changed form the 1700's as good looking as it is, it is severely out dated.

Linea Alternativa is a new, light-weight fireplace offered by Tulikivi. It is more than just an ordinary fireplace. Immediately after the heating process has begun, air enters inside the soapstone exteriors, heats up and rapidly generates heat into the room.
The large fireplace door allows the glowing fire to fill the room with warmth and light.
